Last week while using my A-MAX unit I ended the session and got back to the normal kickstart prompt. After loading the kickstart disk I could only get another kickstart prompt. The disk seems to read the boot cyclinder and maybe a little more than gives up and asks for the kickstart disk again. I have tried a new internal disk drive, and I have swapped the two 8520's all for no change. Could someone please tell me anything else that might cause this kind of reaction ? Please E-Mail me anything I can try or change to figure out what is wrong. I really need my Amy back so any help or suggestions as to how to fix it would be appreciated.
