I have this problem with my color TV (I'm too cheap to buy a monitor).  I 
get ALL SORTS of interference.  I'm guessing that the 2Meg upgrade I had 
put in somehow got the data video lines too close to the shifter chip, 
which I hear is very noisy.  I don't think it had the problem before the 
mem upgrade.  Any suggestions, or am I stuck?
