I need advice, please! Message-ID: <10502@hubcap.clemson.edu> Date: 18 Sep 90 03:14:49 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Clemson University, Clemson, SC Lines: 20 I own an IBM AT clone and am wanting to get a "dream system" after I sell the IBM. Well, I've narrowed it down to these two machines (or some other high end Atar). I have learned a lot from the "flames" that went on. Those seem to be the most informative and exciting postings (debate type). I don't wish to see "who's better" postings or email on this, but advice and honest insight on your machine (to me, this would be a huge purchase, and I need to take into consideration all advice). I am wanting a machine that is both fun (ie. entertainment) - this means sound and graphics without addons, animation & graphics (ie. 3D modeling, ray trace for "hobbie"), application software (ie. word processing) , reliability and price/performance. These two machines match most of what I want. Please, anything you have to say would be appreciated. I know much more on the Amiga right now than the Atari. Doug Dyer
