For the price ($120 on sale at "Service Merchandise") it seems to work well. I get some garbage at times, but don't know if it's the modem's fault or what. It has all the features and commands and leds. I'd call it a "good" modem, and I'm curious as to what makes a modem "great", and whether there is that much of a performance difference between modems. dave allen, colorado springs
