Ok, here it is.  The diagram is from the external port view

	1 - Up/XB
	2 - Down/XA
	3 - Left/YA
	4 - Right/YB
	5 - Not connected
	6 - Fire/Left button
	7 - +5vdc
	8 - Ground
	0 - Joy1 fire/Right button

Note, that the mouse port is the same as the joystick port 1.

This is taken from the ST owners manual, page 88 on my copy.
