Message-ID: <6544@shamu.WV.TEK.COM> Date: 17 Sep 90 16:17:02 GMT Reply-To: miker@shamu.WV.TEK.COM (Mike Reiney) Distribution: usa Organization: Tektronix, Inc., Wilsonville, OR. Lines: 19 I acquired a Cardco C?/B printer interface for the C=64 and can't make it work. Open 4,4:print#4,"text" does nothing (except lock up the computer waiting for a response from the printer). I tried all the switch settings. I even tried address 5. Yes it does have power from the printer and is drawing about 270 mA. I had a similar one before, but this one is quite different physically. It's a board with a sleazy moulded plastic cover that slides over most of the back end. There are three configuration switches on the board. What do they do? (Want the truth table) As I recall, there are several secondary addresses. What are they and what modes to they enable? Thanks for your help. miker
