I've found out that if you set term=xterm and do a resize(1x), vi(1) will use the full window. However, this seems to work only with ULTRIX 4.0, not 3.1. Of course I could just run dxterm (or xterm) remotely, but using VTE is less hassle (and quicker). Any experienced VT1200 (or even VT1000) users out there that know this?
