HP = Highly Padded schedule ? The Rev E is apparently here. But, what changes have been made ? Are there any known outstanding bugs with the Rev E ? Have there been any improvements in speed ? Can anyone at HP enlighten us. Is there any plans for other improvements in the works ? One other thing. If it is true that the Rev E is here, it will be the second time I have heard grossly overestimated time to market of the revisions. I called HP in June when I bought (I returned it in 2 days) a Rev A HP48SX. I asked them when the Rev D and Rev E versions would be available. They told me that Rev D wouldn't be available for several months and Rev E would be many months after that. I have read on the Net that the Rev D was available later that same month. In the middle of August I got an unofficial estimate from someone in HP that it would be SEVERAL months for Rev E. I almost went out and bought a Rev D. Does HP pad their schedules or WHAT ?! Is EDUCALC/ELEK-TEK shipping Rev E or do they still have Rev D to get rid of ? I forget who posted the list of products in the works for the HP48SX and available at EDUCALC. Could you post an update ?
