Anyway, we like it. I think it's hard to find a really good working multiuser BBS for DOS. You should perhaps consider other OSes. I am a SYSOP at the largest multiuser BBS in Norway, and we run a home-made system called BBB/CS. It runs under Quantums QNX which operates perfectly on a 286 or 386 system. At the time we handle 23 external logins, 7 on ordinary modems and 16 on X.25, and our 386 has no problems except for disk I/O access time (that will be a problem anyway on such small systems). QNX is pretty affordable, compared to for instance UNIX, and is a real-time, multitasking system. You are able to run DOS as a task if you prefer. BBB/CS is for sale.
