I'm a Dell government customer and I recently had a bunch of hassles trying to by a System 310 because Dell Marketing Corp. was no longer considered a small business. That's real important to the government if you're spending less than $25K. Earlier this week, my buyer told me that one of our minority, small business vendors had just obtained the right to market Dell PCs. They're also a VAR as they also provide network solutions. I was told that Dell was doing this so they wouldn't lose all that government business. Is that "exclusive agreement" that Soft Warehouse has really all that exclusive? Or do they mean exclusive for non-VARs. -- Marshall L.
