MacUUPC is only capable of handling 8 bit wide data paths (as I believe is the PC version also). This is a limitation of UUPC. Look toward getting yourself set up with a nicer uucico engine. For awhile I was running SoftPC and the uucico engine that came with the PC BBS system called Waffle (didn't run the BBS at all, just the protocol handler, and used QUED/M scripts to hand craft spool files). uAccess (was aka uMail), soon to be released, works just fine with my 7 bit mail server. | --Walter Stu. -- stui@caladan.uucp stui@caladan.wa.com
