What BBSes or CISes are there where I could:
- login at 2400 or higher (up to 9600)
- have 800 numbers
- carry Mac software or machine independent files (text, GIF, etc.)

Note that I'm looking for sites satisfying any one of these requirements.

Of the CISes, which one do you think is the best?
Genie?  Prodigy?  Compuserve?  BIX?  America Online?  other?

Is there any "Guide to BBSes and CISes" or should we build one?

BBS = bulletin board service
CIS = computer information service (usually carry more services)
