I've investigated all of the free Mac POP clients I could get my hands on, and Eudora is definitely the best of the bunch. It's simple, elegant, and powerful. Here at Northwestern we will be distributing it as our officially recommended and supported Mac POP client. My work on Disinfectant involves an enormous amount of Internet mail, and I need a rugged mail program. Eudora does everything I ask of it. If you're interested in Mac POP clients, or if are currently using one of the other ones, you should definitely check out Eudora. Kudos to Steve Dorner for an excellent piece of work.
