I have had the same thing happen several times in the last month. If I shift 
the monitor's weight by picking up the front or back end, it goes away until
I set the monitor back down. Turning it off for a few seconds helped a couple
of times, but not another time. The problem has not recurred in the last two
weeks, though. (It senses fear, just like a mean dog :-)).
