Lines: 25 A prospective Tower client in the wholesale distribution business is looking for a statistical analysis package. Specifically, they wish "to perform linear and multi-variate regression, statistical sampling and trend analysis." (I know just enough about this to be dangerous, so I am simply repeating their words.) If the package also did some graphics that would be a plus. Input data would probably be from an Ascii file or from a spreadsheet. The simplest approach would be to find a fairly low power statistical package (we don't need an SPSS here) that would run on the Tower. An alternative, of course, would be to export the data to a PC, but I would rather keep things on a single machine. Any thoughts or experience in this area? Thanks.
