A few days ago when I powered my cube up, I got a message on the screen saying that the system failed on the power up test. So I hit the "power" key again to turn it off. The OD was ejected then. However, it was protected by hardware password... A few seconds later I turned the cube on again and everything seems to be fine. Then yesterday when I turned on the cube, I got the same system failure message again. I then enter the monitor and issued the boot command, everything worked then. Does anyone have any idea of what's going on with my "one month old" cube? I have a basic system (OD only with 8 meg RAM & 40 megs accelerator disk) with a modem hooked to my Cube. The modem was off when I turned on the Cube. BTW, is it ok to turn the modem on/off when the cube's power is on?
