I've just been handed a HUGE box of Vax Backup tapes to fiddle with and
have been informed that it's important to read them ASAP.  We have the
only 6250 bpi tape drive around, so I need to know if it's possible to
read these things or if I should just give up.

Please reply by direct e-mail as it may be a while before I get the 
sun-spots digest.
