Just a side note:

1.: Tell the users to start developing some new strong muscles in their
    arms NOW!
2.: I was giving programming courses some time ago, using terminals
    with touch screens.  To be exact: they had a grid of light beams
    above the screen surface.  It happened again and again that people
    pointed at some code on the screen and switched the terminal
    unintentionally to, say, "local mode".  Very hard to diagnose why
    the system didn't work anymore.  Those terminals were definitely
    to sophisticated for the users.
