Message-ID: Date: 16 Sep 90 17:47:11 GMT Sender: news@dime.cs.umass.edu Reply-To: moss@cs.umass.edu Distribution: comp Organization: Dept of Comp and Info Sci, Univ of Mass (Amherst) Lines: 19 Folks -- We have the latest and greatest LaTeX/SliTeX (pre TeX 3.0), dvips, and psfig, but they do not seem to permit us to use PS fonts with SliTeX. I suspect that psfonts.sty just needs to be upgraded a little, but haven't a clue as to what precisely needs to be done. Saying \documentstyle[times]{slides} to SliTeX doesn't break much (except some math mode things), but doesn't give Times fonts either. I have a vague recollection of this having been discussed briefly some time ago, but I don't seem to have any special files pulled off the news group that address this issue. It would be especially nice if I could get this going within a couple of days, to produce slides for an upcoming talk. Thanks in advance for any assistance! -- J. Eliot B.
