I am trying to teach LaTeX to fill my company's letterhead,
but I can't manage to position the fields correctly. So I tried to
learn this from pagestyles in the letter.sty, but this wasn't helpfull
at all. Can anybody out there tell me, how I can put text to a certian
absolute position and returning to the original position in LaTeX ?

When I tried all this in the ps@firstpage def, everything messed up
in a sigle line despite my \vspace*{} commands! Any idea, why?
