I got the error message "Can't open /etc/master...". Examining errpt with the strings function showed the presence of a string MASTER. With MASTER set to /etc/master.d and running in user mode I get the error message "Can't open /etc/master.d..." Running as root with MASTER set as above nothing happens, ie the program appears to be hung in a loop (or is taking a very long time to generate a report). By the way /etc/master does not exist on my system, but master.d does and appears to contain configuration files. I am running A/UX 2.0 and I seem to recall that errpt did work with A/UX 1.1. Does anybody know what is going on? ---Jerry ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Jerry LeVan | Phone:(606)-622-1931 | | Department of Computer Science | | | Eastern Kentucky University | Email:matlevan@eku.bitnet | | Richmond Ky 40475 | | |---------------------------------------------------------------------------| | "The series converges so slowly that it actually diverges." | -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
