Amd does the same things that Sun's automount does.  Or so it's
supposed to do.  You can find a copy cached in osu-cis!~/amd (UUCP) or
tut.cis.ohio-state.edu:pub/amd (FTP):

At least for the time being, though, we've given up on automount and
