Dyer Computer Consulting, Cambridge MA Lines: 17 There are two boot diskettes distributed with AIX 1.2. The first is a (partial?) filesystem which can be mounted. The second is a kind of extension of the file system contained on the first. I need to create a new set of AIX 1.2 boot floppies containing a slightly different unix.gen, and so need to know the format of that second diskette. How is it created? The two diskettes taken together don't seem to be the simple concatenation of a larger file system. There is some sort of disk i.d. on the second disk which the boot program is looking for. Can anyone at IBM or Locus help me out here? -- Steve Dyer dyer@ursa-major.spdcc.com aka {ima,harvard,rayssd,linus,m2c}!spdcc!dyer dyer@arktouros.mit.edu, dyer@hstbme.mit.edu
