Keywords: UUCP/Ultrix/terminal servers Message-ID: <1085@indum68.UUCP> Date: 17 Sep 90 20:42:30 GMT Followup-To: poster Lines: 25 Hello people, I have to uucp to several Ultrix (RISC) boxes. At our company we have a Compaq with Xenix 386 V.2.3.2. (with HDB uucp) We use a T2500 modem in V.32 mode and a Codex 2266 on the DEC end. I got al the configuration right (no xon/xoff in de decservers) etc etc. And the receiption of files really works great about 800-900 bytes per second, but the sending up to the dec fails completely. If a file is transferred to the DEC I get dozens of alarms on my debug output, most of the time my system just stops CONVERSATION FAILED. What am I doing wrong? The DEC possibly runs without any handshake but UUCP has its own method of handshaking. Is a terminalserver DEC200/300 not capable of handling 9600 baud?
