We are currently attempting to create what the X literature describes as a
transparent window,for use in overlaying nondestructive graphics on a stored
background. I can create the transparent window over a second window ,
XSetWindowBackgroundPixMap(... none),but refreshing or updating the data
in the "obscured" window is a problem, as the server thinks it is obscured.
Is there any way around this or am I wasting my time ?
