I can create the transparent window over a second window , XSetWindowBackgroundPixMap(... none),but refreshing or updating the data in the "obscured" window is a problem, as the server thinks it is obscured. Is there any way around this or am I wasting my time ? ========================================================================= Please send responses to Thuskiso@redstone-emh2.army.mil Thanx -in- advance -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Troy Evans Micom Unix/Macintosh Users Assistance Grp.
