Keywords: SCO UNIX, econometrics Message-ID: <7557@star.cs.vu.nl> Date: 14 Sep 90 09:21:54 GMT Sender: news@cs.vu.nl Distribution: comp Lines: 10 The Centre for World Food Studies, Amsterdam is switching from a mainframe to a local netwerk running under SCO UNIX. We use advanced econometrics like systems with nonlinear equations with restrictions on parameters, time series analyses, combined cross section/time series analyses, but also the simple stuff. Up till now we used TSP, but are not really satisfied with the possibilities. Do you have suggestions or experiences with packages, please reply. Packages may be written in C or Fortran-77 or compiled versions as long as the run under SCO UNIX. -- Ronald van der Pol
