I resisted it for a while myself (took an interesting sidetrack that went nowhere on the way to Unix) but am right now extremely happy I went to Unix. Switching my BBS to Waffle took a couple of days to get used to (Waffle can be pretty off the wall) but Unix is worth it. Since I came from QNX to Unix I also got the advantage of getting a real NetHack (3.0i yet :-)) but that is another subject (but an addicting one).
