Subject: Problems with Windows & Mitac 386

I am attempting to install Windows 3 on a Mitac MPC 3000C/E (Mitac 386) with a
40Mb Voice Coil Hard Disk, 2Mb RAM, and Sampo VGA video card, however Windows
does not load up nor does it run in 386 Mode.  When I start Windows in 286 or
real mode it works perfectly.

When Windows attempts to load in 386 mode (its default), the title page appears,
then the screen blanks, a wavy pattern appears then blanks again and the machine
goes out to lunch.  A ctl-alt-del reset will revive the system.

If anyone knows what the porblem is and more importantly, how to cure it, could
they please mail me.
