Later this year a range of introductory and comprehensive courses in X11 are given to the Technical University of Denmark by me. Also being interested in the historical background I would appreciate very much some (little) information about the project quoted again and again: The MIT Athena Project. When was it inaugurated? With what purpose? And how did X evolve from Athena? Thank you very much in advance and thanks for a great progress in computing, Yours sincerely, Jorgen Moth Head of Scientific Computing Group The Danish Computing Centre for Research and Education (UNI-C) DTH, Building 305 DK-2800 Lyngby e-mail: neujm@vm.uni-c.dk
