Message-ID: <4192@husc6.harvard.edu> Date: 17 Sep 90 09:27:35 GMT Sender: news@husc6.harvard.edu Reply-To: moghe@husc9.harvard.edu () Organization: Harvard University Science Center Cambridge, MA Lines: 39 I am running xdm under Interactive's 386ix system V R3.2 version 2.2. The xdm is run at the end of /etc/rc3.d/* whic is sort of like at the end of /etc/rc.local. However when the user ends the session the root window goes away and the X server is re started and the new login widget is put-up. I don't wnat the X server to die and the root window to go away. ( I am running xdm with *serverTerminate set to FALSE.) So, why wont xdm run the way I want it to!
