Seriously, I think Steve Smith is telling it like it is on this one, for I have used Flipper with my Dectalk, and as you said, it does take some time to start pronouncing a line. I don't think it takes anywhere near 2 seconds on my system, however, and for sure, the Dec reacts faster to Flipper than any other speech program I've used with it. I just don't think there is any way to make the Dectalk react quickly! Willie ...
