Message-ID: <4633@nisca.ircc.ohio-state.edu> Date: 12 Sep 90 19:40:07 GMT Sender: news@nisca.ircc.ohio-state.edu Organization: The Ohio State University (IRCC) Lines: 12 I've recently installed C News on a newly acquired machine and am still in the process of experiencing for myself the B vs C pros and cons. The setup is a DEC 5400 running Ultrix 4.0 and C News 12-Mar-90. I'm not using the supplied stdio library. I have 20 days worth of news history and expire takes about 90 mins. Does this sound right?? Seems way over the 30 mins other folk have been mentioning. -h The scripts are using /bin/sh though, which I'm going to change to sh5..
