	I'm fairly new at administering the news at our site.  We run
Bnews 2.11.

	I noticed a directory called .tmp in our newspool directory.  In .tmp 
there are numerous files (most of them empty) with names like .ina04416 and 
.ara00142 and some of them are a few months old.

	I've read our news documentation but I cannot see this directory 
mentioned anywhere.  What purpose does this directory and these files serve ?
How can I clean up the directory ?
