Joe Zeeff's mkid program takes all of about ten seconds to install, and the fixes to the header building stuff take about ten seconds to make. Compared to the effort involved in installing C News, I guess that it's about comparable in energy budget to shifting your weight on your chair. This is the first I've heard about C news ``breaking'' rn. I assume this is a reference to overflowing the References: line...which was always there. You might as well argue that using FQDNs in message-ids is Evil and Rude. ian
