Path: utzoo!attcan!uunet!decwrl!sun-barr!newstop!sundc!sunpix!matthew From: matthew@sunpix.East.Sun.COM (Matthew Stier - Sun Visualization Products) Newsgroups: news.software.b Subject: rrn Message-ID: <105@sunpix.East.Sun.COM> Date: 18 Sep 90 23:32:09 GMT Sender: news@sunpix.East.Sun.COM Organization: Sun Microsystems, Research Triangle Park, NC Lines: 21 Originator: matthew@jetdebug3 Our site recently shifted from running Bnews 2.11.19 in a NFS server/client role, to Bnews 2.11.19 and NNTP 1.5.10. During the switch, we went from running 'rn' to 'rrn' (renamed to 'rn'). One nuance that is bothering me, is that - if new news arrives after I've started 'rrn', I won't be able to read it, until I quit 'rrn' and then restart it. Does anyone have any patch for 'rrn' that would requery for new news upon reaching the end of the newsgroups. ("******** End of newsgroups--what next? [qnp]") I'm going to do some peeking around, but it nice to not have to re-invent the wheel.
