Why should we believe that they make any drug (chemotherapy even) >FOR US!!! It is clear the companies make these drugs to make money, and if The only personal example I have is with a topical solution known as "Neoxin" which I believe Parke-Davis used to produce. I am hypersensitive poison ivy and the shots available do not help. This icky, foul-smelling substance was great! About twelve years ago, it disappeared from the shelves of pharmacies everywhere. I talked with a pharmacist friend who had close ties with the drug companies and he said that since it worked so well, it was removed from the market and far more money could be made from multiple applications of caladryl-type lotions several times a day. Since these lotions only reduce the itching, not the poison ivy, then you use it for the course of the irritation. I realize this has little to do with AIDS, but it is demonstrative of what can happen on a small scale...multiply that by several-fold and let your imagination run amok... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Someday you may have to make a choice: follow others into the future or lead others into the past.
