As a modeller, I ran across an airplane in a hobby shop recently that struck
my fancy. It is a Yak-17, and apparently dates back to about 1950. The kit
is a little shy of detail, so before I consider trying this I would like to
know if anyone could point me to some reference material. I am so fond of the
looks of this bird, I would almost consider writing Yakovlev themselves.
