I received a number of answers
about my quest of an FTP site to get OzTeX for Mac.
There were also some interested people,
so I am posting this instead of answering by mail.

Two sites are known:

- midway.uchicago.edu
- giza.cis.ohio-state.edu          in the /pub/oztex directory.

Both have version 1.2 and many TeX-related applications.
