Seeking some leads from successful users of UUPC 1.08a on DOS 3.3 386,
able to call a Sun OS UUCP host .. Telebits (8N1) both ends.  Diags
report gagging at Shere where 8-10 chars of some other char set appear
rather than the called Sun host name after the Shere token.  Yes, that
usually means baud or framing problem .. but a local direct login does
not show the garbage .. same prob 19200 as 1200 baud .. 

If you have a systems file that has worked ( less your Pwd, of course )
would be warmly received.  Thanks for any clues .. Yes, using the binary
zip archives. /Ev/
