Apparently there was some discussion about this a while back (I don't
read this newsgroup but I noticed the tail end of a discussion).  If
someone would kindly mail me the relevant articles I would greatly
apprectiate it.

If it matters, what I'm really interested in is a relational or
deductive DBMS (even on the "toy" level) for demonstration/education
purposes to run on a Unix workstation.
