 I am looking for an indexed full text retrieval database program to run
on a UNIX based computer.  Its use will be to index news articles for fast
retrieval.  Is there anything out there that is low cost and available.

I have info on some commercial packages that cost in the $10,000 to $20,000
range.  This is too much money for my application.
