My customer need the following in a system whose total cost must be < 130K. - Minimum 1024 x 1024 resolution for frame grabber - Must be able to display 1024 x 1024 - Must be able to display entire image (not necessarily at same resoluton) i.e. he wants to "scrunch" images - Needs to be compatible with cameras in the same class as the "Videk Mega +" with slow scan capabilities - Frame grabber needs 8 bit resolution - Monitor should be color for conversion of greyscale to color. - System must have enough memory to hold 10 images or a very fast disk (i.e. he doesn't like waiting long) - It would be nice if the system had lookup tables, graphics overlay capabilities, arithmetic functions, was compatible with array processors & such, and fit into a 19' rack. - It would also be nice if there was software libraries available for it. Since my only experience has been with wireframes on a Megatek, I thought I'd better ask people in the know. If you have any advice, thoughts, experiences, etc please drop me a line. Thanks in advance, Bill (206) 655 -8382 #include I do NOT speak for Boeing!
