I recently picked up a SONY LD1000 videodisc player ata government surplus sale. Unfortunately, it did not come with any manuals or the control section, which is a remote type toy. If any one can give me any tips on hooking this beast up to my Mac Plus (It has an rs232 port on the back and a switch labeled "ext/int CPU") I would be very grateful. I have a hypercard stack from apple (laserdisc made easy or something like that) but it only goes back to the Sony 1500. I also am not sure as to the exact cable set up. If you know anything about doing this, or about the 1000, or how compatible it is with the 1500/2000 let me know. Also, if there is a "standard" format for the connector cable, That would be very useful as well. Thanks. Dan Lingman delingma@thunder.lakeheadu.ca QUIT
