Not true. They have replaced the StandardSystemView (and -Controller) with
a new version which uses the native windows (e.g. X-windows), but MVC is
still there.

This STILL means that a lot of code will have to re-written. I wonder how
long ParcPlace will/can continue to significantly (and not upwards compatible)
change Smalltalk without losing too many of its current customers....
Would you like to rewrite a major portion of 1.5MByte of Smalltalk? I don't...

On the other side, if your native windowing system supports color and you
wanted color, R4 = 4U  :-)
