I think it can do 12 (or 13) bits max. Sorry to correct you, but I have ftp'ed a 16bit compress some days ago which works fine. If there are more people interested in, I can try to remember where I got it (It must be some of those ftp-markets mentioned in the Info_Sheet)(Or not...).
