I got an upgrade notice from the new owner (Innovative Data Concepts)
a couple of weeks ago saying that CXL 5.5 would ship "the first week
of September."  Since it was the second week of September, I assume it
shipped.  The same flier also says you get printed docs, complete
source, and one compiled library disk for $50, $20 if you've already
got an earlier version of CXL.
