Please, could you help me in the following questions: 1) How does the application layer use the C structures generated by POSY ? How does the presentation layer access the C structures for the encoding and decoding ? 2) Marshall Rose writed: "ASN.1 objects are represent using an internal form called presentation element". What's a presentation element ? Could you give me some examples of ASN.1 objects representation ? 3) I'dont understand very well how PEPY generates the encoder and decoder. Are encoder and decoder generated for each ASN.1 objects (such as SEQUENCE,INTEGER) ? Are these routines used in the presentation layer ? Answer to any level of details are welcome.
