No more file handles available

      RetixMail 1.1
      MS/DOS    3.20
      Sun PC-NFS 3.0.1

      In trying to start RetixMail from Windows 2 I get
      an error message "Rxm11: File "...FOLDER.DB2" cannot
      be opened. No more file handles are available."
      I have set FILES=255.
  
      The error occures when the paths (system and private)
      are set to Unix side, but if at least the other of them
      is on C: then it works ok. 

      Can anyone help?
