We have a number of CD-ROM drives attached to Unix hosts. Often these contain executables for MS-DOS. However, the filenames on the CD-ROM are already in DOS form, e.g. FILENAME.EXT. pc-nfs first inverts the case of all the characters, determines that it is not a valid DOS filename, and generates tilde-gibberish. I would like to be able to specify, on a per-volume basis, whether filenames should or should not have the case of the characters inverted. The current behavior is correct for most situations, but for a CD-ROM it is not. Thanks. -- Jim Wright jwright@cfht.hawaii.edu Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope Corp.
