 I'm trying to compile a C program on VM/CMS which includes
calls to a CMS emulation socket package.

Unfortunately, the C compiler truncates the external symbols
 to 8 characters (IBM C for System/370).
    - Does anybody know of a better C compiler on VM/CMS ?

    - or any other way to do ?
